Maryland United Football Club (MUFC), under the auspices of HCAD and sponsorship of Maryland Relay participated in the third annual national Annual Amistad Deaf Indoor Soccer Tournament. Champions of the first tournament, MUFC strove to regain the championship.
They went undefeated in the entire tournament—only to lose in the Championship game against the Deaf Peruvian Soccer Club (DPSC). The DPSC came into second in previous tournament and finally defeated their nemesis, the MUFC to win their first championship.

The soccer tournament took place in Howard County’s Soccer Dome facilities in Jessup, MD. There were 3 women team and 8 men’s team—with players coming from all over the country (and some from outside the country).
MUFC is grateful for HCAD’s support and MD Relay’s sponsorship.
